Gretchen LaWall was first introduced to Fletcher Pilates® in 2009 while training for her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. She was immediately inspired and fell in love with the work. After feeling how Fletcher Pilates was able to change and benefit her own body, she knew she wanted to share the work with others. In the fall of 2011, she began the Fletcher Pilates® Program of Study under the direction of Kyria Sabin and Debrah Mendoza. The Fletcher Pilates® Program of Study is the most comprehensive and definitive international Pilates educational program of its kind and after about 1000 hours of practice, Gretchen proudly became a Fletcher Pilates® Qualified Teacher. Her love for movement has only grown stronger since discovering the Fletcher Pilates® method.

EVERYONE can feel empowered through movement. After almost 9 years of teaching what I have noticed most is that people just want to move. Our body is our only home. How we move is crucial to changing habits and limiting our daily physical stressors. Wouldn't you love to feel like you have more endurance throughout your daily activities? All it takes is a small commitment to a well-rounded movement program and before you know it all of your every day tasks begin to feel easier. It is my mission as a teacher to help you feel more in control, more in touch and more at home in your body.
